Yale/New Haven

On Tuesday we were invited by Alan Organschi (of Gray Organschi Architecture in New Haven, whose work is cerebral, elegant, and impeccably detailed) to join first year reviews up at Yale. It was a glorious pre-Spring day, the student work was stimulating and accomplished, and we of course were privileged to serve as critics within one of the most important works of 20th century architecture around (as well as across the street from two others).  Having spent very little time at the A&A (full disclosure: we were rejected by Yale when applying to grad school and have only been on three prior occasions for juries), we relish any chance to join reviews there; we're educated by the building itself every time we visit and our interest in Rudolph is obviously significant. The trusty camera made the journey, and here are a couple of pictures from the trip. Sze Tsung Leong we are not.
