A new building covering an entire city block in Brooklyn, this project addressed zoning constraints by arranging masses and placing voids per code but in an atypical manner.  The pure blocks of the zoning envelope and setback requirements metamorphose into an eroded mass of open outdoor spaces with monumental punched openings along the major streets. The rear yard is devoted to a private social space for the residents of the building with a theater and recreational zone.
